TERMS & CONDITIONS


It is an honour for us that you are selling your product through GeeCom India Online platform. GeeCom allows sellers to list and sell their product on GeeCom App, GeeCom Delivery App, website and other online platforms (hereinafter referred as “Platform(s)”), and as well as allows the buyers to buy as per their requirements or post demands. GeeCom is neither the buyer nor the seller rather; GeeCom provides a venue for sellers and buyers to complete the transactions. We would like to bring to your kind attention that GeeCom India Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred as “GeeCom”), by providing a platform to transact, acts merely as a facilitator or intermediary as defined under section 2(1)(w) of Information Technology Act, 2000. GeeCom does not make any transaction in its own capacity and merely act as a technology provider, facilitator or intermediary and hence is not liable for any content, information or contentions made, stated or uploaded by the users on its Platforms. Being an intermediary, GeeCom’s liabilities are limited to the extent provided by Section 79 of Information Technology Act, 2000.


This Policy states the rights are responsibilities of all the user of the Platforms, while using the Platforms and while making any transaction, monetary or otherwise, through or via Platforms. This Policy also states the rights and obligations of GeeCom relating to the users’ conduct on the Platforms. By downloading, browsing, making a profile or using the Platforms, you agree to abide by this Policy and by any changes and alterations made by GeeCom in this Policy. If you wish not to abide by this Policy, you may do so by not using the Platforms and removing your profile from the Platforms. You are also required to uninstall GeeCom India App, GeeCom Delivery App, if you don’t want to abide by this Policy. You are also required to uninstall all the Mobile Apps related to GeeCom India platform. 


GeeCom may make changes and alterations in this Policy without any express notice. The said changes and alterations will be applicable and binding as soon as they made available on Platform. You are required to visit this Policy frequently to look for any changes or alterations made by GeeCom in this Policy.
For the Purpose of this Policy, user shall mean a person, either a natural person or a legal person, which has downloaded, accessed, browsed, made an account, or used the Platform(s) or made any transaction, either monetary or otherwise, through or using the Platform(s). 

All the users must ensure that:
1.    All the information provided by them, including but not limited to the personal information, contact information, information regarding the products, its quantity and quality, are correct, complete, relevant, valid and updated;
2.    The information provided by them is sufficient to make other users of the Platform(s) understand their product/service offerings and the offer made by them;
3.    All the images of the products provided by them are genuine and related to the actual products offered/demanded by them;
4.    All the content, including but not limited to images, text, or other audio-visual content, is not misleading, vulgar, deceptive, obscene, defaming, incorrect, or otherwise illegal;
5.    No content uploaded or made available by them on the Platforms shall harm religious, social or political believes of any group, religion, cast, race, or sector of society;
6.    The Platform(s) shall be used in good faith. 

While making any transaction on, though or using the Platform, the user might be a:
-    “Seller”- who sells, rents or otherwise provides either his own goods or services, or goods or services of any other third party, through or using the Platform; or


-    “Buyer”- who purchase, takes possession, takes on rents, or otherwise acquire a full or partial ownership of any goods or services, either temporarily or permanently, either on his/her own behalf or on behalf of any other third party; or


-    “Delivery Person/Partner”- who helps transport products from seller to buyer safely and securely without. It can be an individual associated with GeeCom India, or directly with seller or third party delivery partner who has independently registered in the platform or working in collaboration with GeeCom.

While offering any product or service or making any transaction, via, through or using the Platform, the Seller:
1.    Shall ensure that all the information regarding the goods or services offered by his via or through the Platform is accurate, complete, relevant and updated;
2.    Shall frequently and promptly update the information regarding the goods and services offered by him via or through the Platform;
3.    Shall be responsible for the sale, rent or otherwise transfer of the goods and services; 
4.    Seller shall promptly update the ‘Seller Settings’ as soon as he/she signup in the platform before he/she posts his/her first supply in the platform;
5.    Shell shall keep ‘Seller Settings’ up to date all the time; 
6.    Shall be responsible for dealing with any claim, complaint or query raised by the Buyer or any other user or GeeCom;
7.    Shall be responsible for any issue, conflict, disturbance or claim arising out of or in connection with the transaction, deal or agreement between the Seller and the Buyer or any other user of the Platform;
8.    Seller will provide accurate and complete information about the goods or services offered by it, via or using the Platform;
9.    Shall promptly provide any sampling, specification or additional information seek, requested or asked by the Buyer, GeeCom or any other user of the Platform, about the goods or services offered by the Seller;
10.    Shall be solely responsible for quality, quantity, price, accessories, service, maintenance, delivery or any other specifications of the goods and services offered by him/her via, through or using the Platform;
11.    Shall be solely responsible for the packaging, transportation and timely delivery, in adequate format, of the goods or services sold, rented or otherwise transferred by him/her via or using the Platform;
12.    Shall ensure that the payment is made to the Seller in per-decided means and at per-decided time.

While posting, uploading or making any demand offering or making any transaction via, through or using the Platform, the Buyer:
1.    Shall ensure that all the information regarding the goods or services requested by him/her via or through the Platform is accurate, complete, relevant and updated;
2.    Shall frequently and promptly update the information regarding the goods and services needed/requested to/by him/her via or through the Platform;
3.    Shall be responsible for any goods or services purchased, taken on rent or otherwise acquired by him/her;
4.    Shall be responsible to ensure the quality, quantity, storage and packing standards of the goods or services purchased or taken on rent or otherwise acquired by him/her;
5.    Shall ensure that the payment is made to the Seller in per-decided means and at per-decided time.

While posting, uploading or making any demand offering or making any transaction via, through or using the Platform, the “Delivery Person/Partner”: 
1.    Shall ensure the safe and secure handling and delivery of the product from Seller to buyer;
2.    Shall ensure coordination with seller via constant communication and updates regarding product pickup from seller’s address;
3.    Shall ensure coordination with buyer via constant communication and updates regarding product delivery to buyer’s address;
4.    Shall ensure that products and packing are not altered, modified or damaged  in any way during the entire transit;
5.    Shall frequently and promptly update the information regarding the goods and services offered by him/her via or through the Platform;
6.    Shall frequently and promptly respond, provide quote on the delivery requests submitted in the platform;
7.    Shall act promptly act once his/her delivery quote has been approved or once he/she receives delivery request. 


In no case, GeeCom shall be liable for any aspect relating to any transaction between any Seller and Buyer and Delivery Person/Partner. For the purpose of this Clause, aspects relating to transaction may include, any inconsistence in information, any issues relating to quality, quantity, specifications, packaging, storage, transportation or delivery of goods or services, issues relating to mode or type of transportation, issues relating to mode or time of payments or amount of payment, conflicts between the Seller and Buyer and Delivery Person/Partner, issue relating to the ownership of goods or services, conflicts regarding ancillary and incidental cost, conflict regarding any loss or damages occurred to any party due to the transaction.

GeeCom may Charge some amount, either fix or percentage of transaction amount, for the interaction/transaction between the buyer and the seller. The amount charged by GeeCom shall be solely for providing the Platform and acting as a facilitator.

GeeCom may also be charging a facilitation fee in case any transaction happens via the Platform(s). The fees charged by GeeCom is solely in the capacity of intermediary and charging of any fees shall not be considered as an action of soliciting the transaction by GeeCom.

In case of any dispute between buyer, seller, Delivery Person/Partner, any other user or any other third party, GeeCom shall neither be responsible for resolving such dispute or for any other liability regarding the same. Parties involved in the dispute shall be responsible to resolve the same via any medium they deem fit. GeeCom, at its sole discretion, may mediate the dispute. In case GeeCom decides to mediate the dispute, the terms and conditions of the mediation shall be decided by GeeCom and GeeCom may also charge a fee for mediation. The Parties to the dispute are not obligated to resolve the dispute via a mediation by GeeCom.

GeeCom provides a platform for Sellers and Buyers to make transaction where Seller can sell and Buyer can choose Seller to buy the products. In this transaction, to ensure the benefits of both the parties GeeCom offers different delivery options and payment methods to Sellers, Buyers and Delivery Person/Partner.


Various delivery options have been provided to the users, which user can chose based on his/her convenience, delivery options are:
(i)    Pickup by Buyer or his/her representative from Seller’s location/address
(ii)    Buyer pays for delivery – Seller manages the delivery/transportation
(iii)    Buyer pays for delivery – Delivery by GeeCom or Third Party
(iv)    Delivery by Seller himself/herself, seller can define weight and distance limits for free delivery based on his/her convenience
(v)    Seller pays for delivery – Buyer manages the delivery/transportation
(vi)    Seller pays for delivery – Delivery by GeeCom or Third Party
(vii)    To Pay - 'To pay' is the amount of money charged for carrying goods. In this scenario Buyer pays the full freight to the transporter/agency/person carrying goods. 
(viii)    Fix Rate - This option is for those sellers who want to set a Fix Delivery Charge for Local Delivery. Seller can decide a Fix Delivery Rate for a set distance and weight limit.  

Note: Delivery by GeeCom or Third Party – Seller/Buyer can choose third party via bidding process being available in the platform OR Seller can have dedicated third party/person as Delivery Partner/Person assigned to her/her profile

GeeCom will share options, details and available resources in case of delivery for bulk orders, to distant locations or products which requires special handling. Final choices/decisions will be made by Seller and Buyer


GeeCom has made sincere attempt to provide a user friendly platform to facilitate transactions between parties involved. It is primarily self-driven platform which provides abundance of choices and information to all the users. Help, Information icons and various types of content has been provided in the entire platform. In some cases default values are being set by the platform, which user shall review and change as soon as possible. Users are responsible to understand the platform from all the available information and use the platform as per his/her needs convenience and choices. Users can always reach out to GeeCom India team for further help and assistance.

In case of noncompliance of this Policy, GeeCom India has all the rights to block the user from the Platform, deny him access to the Platform and to all the services provided thereunder.


In case, any provision of this Policy is invalidated by any law enforce in India, the Policy will be invalid up to the extent of that clause only and remaining provisions of the Policy shall remain valid and enforceable.

In case of any dispute between GeeCom and any user of the Platform, the dispute shall be resolved at _Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India_ under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Same terms & conditions and all the policies are also applicable when an offline transaction has been made with the help of GeeCom India Team. Please refer all the policy documents separately uploaded along with this policy document.
